Lori Lyle
Screenwriter & Filmmaker
After earning her Master’s degree in psychology, Lori Lyle worked for seventeen years as a therapist, where she developed a deep understanding of human behavior and the human condition. Three years ago, she retired from her day job and devoted her time to translating her knowledge of character, emotions and behavior to the screen. Along with Gallup and Glass Cages she now has three feature-length scripts to her name, and several more waiting in the wings.
She works monthly with Jessica Hinds, of The Science & Art of Writing and is constantly striving to perfect her craft. She is interested in the timeless themes of identity, truth and ethics, as well as using landscape as a character in her work. She is also fascinated with small-town life, and the pathos of ordinary people simply trying to live their lives.
Lori Lyle is married, and lives in Southern Utah. She has two grown daughters and splits her time between writing, hiking, and observing the world around her.
Norbert Lyle
Executive Producer & Musician
Norb Lyle was born and raised in Illinois, the middle of three children. His father was a mechanical engineer for a family company, his mother an accomplished artist and musician. Norb has split his interests between athletics and art his whole life, participating in organized hockey, track and field and golf as well as choir, band and photography.Â
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University in photography and cinematography, while he was playing his guitar at local bars and restaurants as a founding member of Lucas and Lyle. Norb composed his first songs in the seventies, but took a hiatus from his music in the nineties, when he focused on his photography and raising his children.Â
Recently, Norb has been focusing on creating melodies, using both his guitar and vocal strengths—succeeding in blending many styles, resulting in a distinctive and unique listening experience.
